Privacy Policy

MEDEV Studios ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Market Simulator: Idle Tycoon mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our App, how it is used, and your choices.

Market Simulator: Idle Tycoon is an idle/simulation game. Your game progress is stored locally on your device. Optional features such as cloud save, leaderboards, and advertisement display involve third-party Google services described below.

We do not collect or request any personal identifiers directly. However, the App integrates third-party services from Google which may access:

• Advertising identifiers — Google AdMob uses your device's advertising ID (GAID) to serve relevant banner ads, opt-in rewarded ads, and track basic ad conversions.
• Google Play Services profile — If you are signed in to Google Play Games, your chosen display name, avatar, and game scores (your store level and prestige count) are processed to update public leaderboards and sync game files.
• Crash and error reports — When the App crashes or runs into an internal error, Firebase Crashlytics sends a report so we can find and fix the problem: the error and where it happened in the App, your device model, operating system version, the App version, a random installation identifier created by Firebase, and the game's state at the time (store level, prestige count, trading day, language and graphics settings). Reports contain no name, email or account identifier, and Firebase keeps them for 90 days. Debug and test builds send nothing.

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or billing details.

Your game state — including money, upgrades, cashier levels, unlocked shelves, unlocked themes, and your goals progress (daily quests, achievements and lifetime statistics), along with your game settings and whether you chose Google sign-in or guest play — is saved locally on your device using SharedPreferences (market_sim_prefs, plus a copy of the previous save in market_sim_prefs_backup). Additionally:

• If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the App automatically backs up and syncs your progress to Google's cloud servers (via Snapshots API).
• If backup is turned on for your Android device, Android's automatic backup includes this saved data in your Google account's device backup and in device-to-device transfers, and may restore it when you reinstall the App.
• This data is fully owned and managed by you and is not stored on MEDEV Studios' private servers.
• You can delete your local save with Reset Progress in the App's Settings, by clearing app data in your device Settings, or by uninstalling the App. None of these deletes a copy already saved in Google Play Games or in your Android device backup.

The App displays standard Banner Ads at the bottom of the screen to monetize gameplay passively. It also offers Rewarded Ads, which are strictly opt-in and shown only when you explicitly tap an ad button to: double your store's income for 15 minutes (Double Income), collect free gems (Free Gems, a limited number per day), activate a skill or reset its cooldown without spending gems, double your offline earnings, or double a reward you are collecting (the daily bonus, the end-of-day bonus, a daily quest or the daily quest chest).

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before it requests any ads, and you can change your choice at any time with Ad Privacy Settings in the App's Settings. No ads are requested until this consent step has completed.

Google AdMob collects information according to Google's Privacy Policy, which may include:

• Advertising ID (GAID) for ad personalization and capping
• Approximate location (IP-based) for localized ads
• App crashes and performance diagnostics

The App itself declares only the internet permission. Google's ad and Play services libraries add the permissions they use: access to the advertising ID (AD_ID), network status, wake lock and foreground service, and, on devices that support them, Android's Privacy Sandbox advertising APIs (ad ID, attribution reporting and topics).

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

The global leaderboard and cloud saving features are powered by Google Play Games Services V2. They are used only while you are signed in to Google Play Games; if your device is already signed in, the App connects automatically on its welcome screen. If you choose Play as Guest, your progress stays on your device and no scores are submitted. While you are signed in:

• Your store level and prestige count are submitted as scores, and your chosen gamer display name and avatar will be displayed with them on the public high-score leaderboards.
• Your game progress is synced securely to your personal Google Drive / Saved Games container when you leave the game and about every five minutes while you play, and is read back when the game starts.
• You can manage or revoke access to your Google Play Games profile at any time directly through the Google Play Games settings.

The App integrates the following Google SDKs:

We do not integrate analytic tools (such as Flurry, GameAnalytics), social media tracking SDKs, or data brokers.

Market Simulator: Idle Tycoon is rated for ages 3+ on Google Play. We do not collect personal information from children. The App does not ask for your age, and its ad requests are not marked as directed at children.

If you believe a child has provided any personal details through the App, please contact us at info@medevstudios.com and we will take immediate steps to address it.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations:

• Delete save data — Use Reset Progress in the App's Settings, uninstall the App, or clear App data in device settings. A cloud save in Google Play Games is managed through your Google Play Games account.
• Opt out of ad personalization — Device Settings → Google → Ads.
• Change your ad consent — In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, use Ad Privacy Settings in the App's Settings.
• Disconnect Play Games — Revoke access inside the Google Play Games settings.
