Animix: Magic Merge
Effective Date: May 27, 2026 · Last updated: October 17, 2026
TL;DR — Your game progress (levels, stars, coins, pets, missions and settings) is saved on your device. If you sign in with Google Play Games, a copy is also saved to your Google account so it can be restored on another device. The App shows rewarded ads only, and only when you choose to watch one; ads are served by Google AdMob. If the App crashes, a crash report goes to Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix it. MEDEV Studios runs no servers for the App, receives none of your game data and does not sell your data to anyone.
Introduction
MEDEV Studios ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Animix: Magic Merge mobile game (the "App", package com.medevstudios.animix). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to version 3.0.0 of the App and later.
Animix: Magic Merge is a merge puzzle game where you combine magical items, collect pets and explore a magical island across 1,000 levels. The App needs no account and works without an internet connection. It never asks for your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
Data Stored on Your Device
We do NOT ask for or receive: names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts or any other personally identifiable information. The Google services built into the App do collect some data, including your device's advertising ID, as described in Sections 03 to 05.
The App saves the following in its private storage on your device:
- Level progress, stars and scores, and a level you left unfinished so you can resume it
- Coins, energy, boosters and win streak
- Your pet collection and the pet you chose as companion
- Daily Quest, Daily Missions, Pet Race, Daily Gift streak, Island Projects and other reward progress
- Game statistics (such as total merges) and tutorial progress
- Settings: sound effects, music, vibration and notifications
- Your choice between Google Play Games sign-in and playing as a guest
- Your ad consent choice, which Google's consent SDK stores on the device
This data stays on your device. If you sign in with Google Play Games, a copy is also saved to your Google account (see Section 04). If Android device backup is turned on, Android may back up this save data to your Google account and restore it when you reinstall the App or move to a new phone.
Note: Uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes the game data on your device. It does not delete a copy saved to Google Play Games or to your Android device backup, which may be restored if you reinstall the App. You can also use Reset Progress in the App's Settings: it deletes your progress and, if cloud sync is on, replaces your cloud save with the reset progress.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows rewarded video ads only, served by Google AdMob. An ad plays only when you tap an offer and choose to watch it, for example to get extra moves after a failed level, to multiply the coins from a win, to refill energy or to double a daily reward. There are no banner ads and no interstitial ads, and you can play the whole game without ever watching an ad.
When an ad is requested or shown, Google AdMob may collect the following to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud:
- Advertising ID (can be reset or deleted in your device settings)
- Device type and operating system version
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (not precise GPS)
- How you interact with ads, and diagnostic data
Ad content is limited to material rated for teen and older audiences. You can opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads on some devices).

EEA, UK and Switzerland: If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested. You may choose non-personalized ads, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Ad Privacy Options in the App's Settings.
Leaderboards & Cloud Save (Google Play Games)
The leaderboards and cloud save are powered by Google Play Games Services. If you choose to sign in with Play Games (or turn on Sync with Play Games in Settings):
- Google provides your Play Games player ID, display name and avatar so the App can show the leaderboards; your display name and avatar are visible to other players there
- Your scores and stars are submitted to Google's leaderboards
- Your game progress is saved to Google Play Games Saved Games in your Google account, and loaded back when you start the App or tap Sync Now, including on another device
- You can manage or delete your Play Games profile and its saved game data at any time from the Google Play Games app
Signing in is completely optional. You can play the full game as a guest, and you can turn cloud sync off at any time in Settings. If you are not signed in, your scores and progress stay on your device. Turning cloud sync off stops further uploads but does not delete the copy already saved in your Google account.

Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When the App crashes or runs into an error, it sends a crash report to Google's Firebase Crashlytics so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains:
- The error and where in the App's code it happened
- Device model, Android version and App version
- Free memory and storage at the time of the crash
- A random installation identifier created by Crashlytics
- A few facts about the game session: the level being played, the highest level reached, the companion pet, the language, the device's font size setting, whether you play as a guest or signed in, and the last screens and levels opened
Crash reports do not include your name, contact details, advertising ID or game progress. Google keeps them for up to 90 days. Crashlytics is used only to fix crashes, not for analytics or advertising.

Notifications
With your permission, the App can remind you when your energy is full or a daily gift is waiting. These reminders are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn them off under Notifications in the App's Settings or in your device's notification settings.

Virtual Currency & Rewards
Coins, energy, boosters, stars and other rewards in the App are earned through gameplay, daily rewards and rewarded ads. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The App has no in-app purchases. If in-app purchases are ever added, all transactions will be processed through Google Play, and this policy will be updated first.
Children's Privacy
Animix: Magic Merge is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The App does not ask any user for personal information and does not require registration.
Because the App is not directed at children, its ad requests are not tagged for child-directed treatment; ad content is limited to material rated for teen and older audiences.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at info@medevstudios.com and we will help remove it.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA, KVKK or similar laws:
- Delete your progress — Reset Progress in the App's Settings, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App
- Ads — Change your consent from Ad Privacy Options in the App's Settings (EEA, UK and Switzerland); reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
- Play Games profile and cloud save — Manage or delete them in the Google Play Games app
- Notifications — Turn them off in the App's Settings or your device settings
- Request information — Contact us about any data processing related to the App
We do not keep personal data on our own servers, so there is no account for us to delete. Your game data lives on your device and, if you signed in, in your Google account, where you control it. Requests about data held by the Google services above are best directed to Google; we will gladly help.
Turkish Residents (KVKK): Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 6698), you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request its correction or deletion, and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Data Security
Game data on your device is protected by Android's app sandbox. The App only exchanges data over the internet when:
- Google AdMob loads and shows an ad you chose to watch, or Google's consent form is shown
- Google Play Games submits scores and saves or loads your cloud save (if you signed in)
- A crash report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics
- Android backs up the App's save data to your Google account (if device backup is turned on)
These connections are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. Changes are posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and significant changes are also noted in the App's release notes.
